CLOSET AUDIT
Knowing which pieces in your closet still have wear left in them and which are time to retire, is often a difficult task.
During your Initial Consultation you’ll work together with your Personal Stylist to assess the items you should keep, what to discard of and where the missing pieces are in your wardrobe.
Often all it takes is styling unworn clothing in a new way to bring it back to life, or sending it off to the tailor for minor alterations to ensure a better fit. We aim to get the most use out of what you own and focus the shopping on what you’re missing.
At this time, we’ll also be looking at what’s in your closet to get a sense of the brands you’re wearing and the styles and colors you gravitate towards. Seeing a new customer’s wardrobe gives us a really clear understanding of their fashion preferences and equips us to shop confidently on their behalf.
VIRTUAL STYLING
Don’t live in DC? No problem! As a personal stylist I can shop for you and scope out all the best deals. First, we’ll send you a style questionnaire, then we can chat via phone or Skype so we can learn more about you, your lifestyle and visualize your wardrobe needs. With our online personal shopping service, we will shop stores based upon your lifestyle and budgetary needs, and then compile a list of links to items that will help you round out your wardrobe. We’ll send you a minimum of thirty links categorized to make it easy to shop on your own. We finish with a follow-up phone call or Skype chat to discuss what purchases you’ve made.
BRIDAL STYLING
The wedding dress is the foundation for all of the fashion components for the wedding. Once we find THE dress, we can move on to assembling custom pieces to finish your look and taking care of your wardrobe for the other wedding events.
From there I often help the mothers, the groom, and the wedding party- making sure that all of the fashion is coordinated to complement both your dress and the overall event.
SPECIAL EVENTS
